wed. morning update
I went to bed early last night, so I didn't get a chance to put together a
blog post for today as I was intending.
There is, however, a lot going on right now in my life.
Today at 10PM will mark 1 whole week without smoking a cigarette.
Michael Moore will be speaking at CMU today. If I hurry home from work I
should be able to make it in time to see him speak.
I've started to work out during the week, instead of just on the weekends.
I'm up to going 3 times a week, every week, but I'm getting there. I forgot
how packed Tree's hall can be during the week. I saw Shawn Stokes there. He
tried to give me that high school meathead intimidation look. I just
returned his look with my "I will crush your windpipe and safely dispose of
your body" stare.
I missed the vice presidential debates, but it's not really a factor in my
decision making. I've been part of the "Anybody but Bush" ticket since he
stole the last election. It could be a Kerry-Hitler ticket, and I'd vote for
it. Its sure better then the Hitler-Cheney ticket that we've got now. And
don't tell me the comparison isn't apt. Adolf invaded countries on a
pretext, too.
Living alone means you're always busy. I rarely hang out with people these
days. I seem to spend all my time with Julie, Chuck, and Erin. I apologize
to everyone for my social isolation. But its helping me get in shape and
quit smoking, so you'll have to bear with me on this one.
My new favorite show is Scrubs. I don't have cable, but I have broadband, so
I can download the episodes. Scrubs is kinda like Family Guy meets ER. It's
a good time. I recommend everyone hit up http://www.suprnova.org and check
it out.
